Corporal Dobre Lili yesterday wounded in Iraq, is still in coma in a hospital in Kuwait City, under medical care.

A commission of Maresal Alexandru Averescu 2nd Joint Operational Command will be in the theater of operations in Iraq for investigations on this event. A military prosecutor is part in this commission.

Corporal Dobre is a contract employee military in the 280th Infantry Battalion, an unit in mission in Iraq since January 2006. Yesterday, March 14, around 14.30 hours, after a mission, the military wounded himself shooting his head in a tent, in the deployment camp, Camp Mittica. After the medical care in the unit, the soldier was transported to Sasari Italian Brigade hospital. Corporal Dobre was then transported by an Italian helicopter in a hospital in Kuwait City.

The 28 years old, unmarried military is employed in the 280th Infantry Battalion, Focsani since 2001. He also participated in international missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan.
