100 years of Romanian Aviation

The Romanian Air Force is celebrating the centenary since the first fly the Romanian Engineer Traian Vuia had in March 18, 1906. Vuia's fly was in Montesson, France and he used for the first time a flying machine with its own system of propulsion, take off and landing.

- Day of the Open Doors for a group of students of Sf. Sava College from Bucharest and pupils that participated in the first two editions of the Camp for scouts Friday, March 17, starting 10.00 hours, at the 90th Air Transport Base, Bucharest.


- Inauguration of Traian Vuia Hall in the new location of the Museum of Aviation, strada Fabrica de Glucoza, nr. 2-4, sector 2, Bucharest Saturday, March 18 at 11.00 hours. MoND leaders, ministers and military and civilian personalities are invited to participate in this inauguration.
