Meimarakis Evangelos-Vassilios, minister of Defense of the Republic of Greece will have an official visit in Romania between March 21 and 22 invited by minister Teodor Atanasiu.

The two officials will have talks on the economic cooperation and security at the Black Sea, present situation in the Balkans and military contributions in the Battle Groups. Also, they will approach the process of transformation of the Alliance, the present situation in the theaters of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and the program of bilateral military cooperation.

The Greek minister will be received by the President of Romania, Traian Basescu, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Razvan Ungureanu and the president of Commission of Defense, Public Order and National Security of the Chamber of Deputies, Mihai Stanisoara.

Tuesday, March 21, at 17.00 hours the two ministers will have a common press conference at the MoND HQ.
