A military delegation headed by Lieutenant General Artur Aghabekyan, deputy minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia paid a visit in Romania between March 22 and 24, invited by the State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy, Ion Mircea Plangu.

The official talks focused the Romanian expertise in PfP process, reform of the Romanian and Armenian armed forces, security in the enlarged Black Sea region and the bilateral cooperation.

General Aghabekyan was also received by the minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu, the chief of General Staff, General Dr. Eugen Badalan and the State Secretary for global affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Teodor Baconschi.
