The 22nd meeting of CENCOOP Director Board was held in Bucharest between March 27 and 28, 2006 with the participation of representatives from Austria, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary, state-members of the regional initiative of cooperation.

The reunion was headed by Dan Claudiu Degeratu, president of the Board of Directors due to the fact Romania till 2006 has the presidency of this organization.

The most important issues on the agenda included the dialogue on the security in the South East Europe, and the Western Balkans, especially, the identification of the future areas of cooperation and their guidelines within the European Policy of Security and Defense.
