A military delegation headed by chief of Georgian General Staff, Colonel Levan Nikoleishvili will pay a visit in Romania invited by chief of Romanian General Staff, General Dr. Eugen Badalan, between April 11 and 13, 2006.

The official talks will aim the practical aspects for the improvement of the bilateral military relations, the information on the Romanian armed forces process of transformation and the Romanian participation in international military missions. They will also approach the issues on the state of security in the Black Sea enlarged region and the Romanian armed forces expertise within the Partnership for Peace.

The Georgian delegation will be received by the minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu, and will visit the Navy Academy and different military objectives in Constanta.
