Deputy Under Secretary for the US Air Force International Relations, Bruce S. Lemkin pays a working visit in Romania between April 12 and 15, 2006 invited by the chief of the Romanian Air Staff, Lieutenant General Gheorghe Catrina.

The two officials had talks on the Romanian Air Force present structure and organization and the future plans and reform. This occasion, they had information on the stage of the C 130 Hercules programs of modernization and analyzed the aspects of the personnel training and the possible improving of the airport facilities and their common use.

The program of the visit includes the visits of the 90th Air Base Otopeni and the Main Air Operational Command.
