The soldiers from the 2nd Infantry Brigade Craiova and the 86th Air Base Fetesti continue their dyking action in the areas affected by the Danube river overflow.

164 soldiers from the 20th and the 26th Infantry Battalions are consolidating with sacks with sand and soil the dykes protecting Ciupercenii Noi and Ciupercenii Vechi in Dolj County and yesterday they acted in Calafat area.

Other 30 soldiers from the Air Unit Fetesti are working for the dyking on 150 m long of the dyke in Buliga residential district in Fetesti.

Starting 15.00 hours a detachment of 10 soldiers from the 10th Engineering Brigade will participate in consolidation of dykes in Varsatura and Chiscani, Braila County.
