George Cristian Maior in official visit in Norway

George Cristian Maior, State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy will pay an official visit between June 21 and 25, 03 in the Kingdom of Norway invited by Gunnar Heloe, State Secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Defense.
State Secretary Maior will meet the Ministry of Foreign Affairs high officials.

The discussions with the Norwegian officials will be focused on the fulfillment of the specific aims established for Romanian's joint to NATO and the evolution of the reform of the Armed Forces; the bilateral military cooperation after the Prague Summit; the aspects of the security policy in Central and South-Eastern Europe and Romania's participation to the international campaign against terrorism.

The official visit enlisted the very good bilateral relations between the two Ministries of Defenseand represents a significant moment for the increase of the cooperation relations in Defense between Romania and the Kingdom of Norway.
