Monday, April 17, 2006 the soldiers from the 2nd Infantry Brigade Rovine, Craiova acted in Dolj County in supporting the population affected by floods.

In Bistret, a detachment of the 26th Infantry Battalion Red Scorpions acted for evacuation of people and goods.

In Negoi, the soldiers of the 20th Infantry Battalion Black Scorpions cooked the lunch for 100 persons and will ensure the hot meal for dinner, too.

In Rast the soldiers from Craiova evacuated the population and goods and cooked the lunch for 400 persons. This night they will arrange the camp for the sufferings from calamity at about 1.5 km North of the village, consisting in 11 campaign tents and 110 matrices and will cook the meal for the people.
