A Romanian soldier in mission in Iraq was killed near An Nassyria, today, April 27, 2006 at about 08.00 hours.

A joint Romania-Italian patrol in mission South of An Nassyria was attacked. A car trap exploded and few soldiers were killed among them was the Romanian soldier and other military were wounded.
