Tents and equipment for quartering the 130 persons evacuated due to the slide of land, in the night of May 4, in Rosia de Amaradia, Gorj County, were set at disposal by the Ministry of National Defense, at the local administration request.

About 600 soldiers of the Ministry of National Defense act today with 80 technical means in the localities affected by flood in Dolj County, Olt County, Calarasi County, Ialomita County and Braila County for evacuation of people and goods, watch and consolidation of dykes, and function of the eight camps arranged for 1600 affected people.

The soldiers also transport and preserve the food, supply with drinkable water and the bath facilities, prepare and offer the hot meal for the 5500 persons.
