Exhibition dedicated to the celebration of half of a century of the Hungarian Revolution at the National Military Museum

The National Military Museum will host starting Thursday, May 18 17.00 hours an exhibition dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution (1956) an important event in the Cold War history re-configuring the diplomatic-military and economic relations within the Alliance of the former socialist countries.

The exhibition is organized by the Military Museum of History from Budapest and occurred due to the celebration of the day of the Hungarian Armed Forces, May 21, 2006.

The present military relations between Romania and Hungary are constantly increasing on multiple plans, cultural including and the cooperation between the Military museums from Bucharest and Budapest is already a tradition, now. Every year, at the anniversary of the national armed forces, the two institutions of culture organize exhibitions on military issues, the events being appreciated by the specialists and the public.
