Visits at the National Defense University Carol I

Three professors and 15 students from the US National University of Defense are guests at the National Defense University Carol I in Bucharest.

The US officers will learn about the conception of organization and development of the military high education system within the National Defense University Carol I. They will also debate the themes on the Romanian armed forces, the stage and directions of their transformation and the participation in missions in different theaters of operations.

The visit is part of the program of studies of the US National University of Defense intended for training the officers recently appointed in Brigade General rank.



A delegation of the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Jordanian Armed Forces pay a visit at the Department of Foreign Languages from the National Defense University Carol I, in Bucharest, between May 15 and 19, 2006.

The Romanian and Jordanian professors will analyze the mutual interest issues on selection of students, organization and development of courses, level of training and the end of courses.

The debates also aim the future cooperation between the two institutions by exchanges of professors and students, participation in courses and multinational exercises.

The Department of Foreign Languages from the National Defense University Carol I from Bucharest develop since the educational year 2004-05 an intensive course of Arabian Language. The students of this course will start today, May 16 a visit of documentation at the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
