A Detachment of 40 soldiers from the 2nd Mountain Troop Brigade Sarmizegetusa participate since today in the efforts of limiting the aviary hotbed in Codlea area at request of the Prefecture and the Sanitary/Veterinary Direction Brasov.

The Detachment, commanded by Lieutenant Ionel Chivu have to collect and burn the birds from the poultry farming, subject to euthanasia.

The soldiers received Tamiflu tablets and the adequate equipment. The Mountain Troops arranged a camp of 13 tents for their quartering during the mission due to the fact that in Codlea area the quarantine was imposed.
