A military delegation headed by the Chief of Qatarian General Staff, Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah will pay a visit in Romania between May 19 and 22 invited by the Chief of Romanian General Staff, General Dr. Eugen Badalan.

The official talks will be focused on the bilateral military relations, the present stage and the perspectives of cooperation in technical-military area and the information on Romanian participation in international missions.

Different issues on the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative and the Romanian Armed Forces expertise within the Partnership for Peace will also be discussed.
The Qatarian military delegation will be received by the Minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu.
