Ministry of National Defense will deliver today, May 31, 2006 to the National Council for Studying the Securitate Archives (CNSAS) the documents belonging to the former Securitate kept in custody by the Armed Forces Historic Service.

The 1523 files in 15 meters long were received from the Military Archives after December 1989.

Based on the Decision no. 60 of the Supreme Council of Defense of the Country, in April 17, 2006 the Armed Forces Historic Service started the proceedings for delivering them to CNSAS.
