The 16th edition of Podul minciunilor military humor festival will occur June 6 and 9, 2006 at the Military Cercle in Sibiu.

The festival is organized by the Administrative and Service Directorate and the Section of Military Traditions and Civic Education from the Ministry of National Defense.

The festival is divided in two sections, i.e. Creation including videos and satirical-humorist literature, graphics and humorist photos and Interpretation-satire and humor individual, duo and groups of interprets.

The participants will represent three military lyceums, 14 military cercles and Nicolae Balcescu Army Academy. This year, the Ministry of Administration and Interior will be represented by Alexandru Ioan Cuza Academy of Police from Bucharest.
