George Cristian Maior State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy participates Monday July 7, 03 to the retreat ceremony of General Tommy R. Franks and the handing over of USCENTCOM command to the new commander.

High political officials and US military commanders, ministers of Defense, chiefs of General Staffs and ambassadors in Washington of the partner states will participate to this ceremony.

The ceremony is organized in Tampa, Florida.
