It is hard to find the most appropriate words to express my feelings in these moments of grief and suffering for the family, friends and colleagues of aidman Corporal Ionel Gheorghita DRAGUSANU killed in Afghanistan following a terrorist attack.

Though deeply aware that nothing could possibly ease the family's sorrow and that nobody could ever replace him in their hearts, I will do everything in my power to support the mourning family both morally and financially.

I take a bow for the sacrifice of Corporal Ionel Gheorghita DRAGUSANU with the respect deserved by a soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country and people.

I strongly believe that all Romanians are supporting the military during such times, who need their trust and support.

Our comrade was killed while doing his duty, while fighting against international terrorism. It is our hope that his sacrifice is not lost and his daughter would get to live in a better world.

May he rest in peace!
