Tuesday, June 20, 2006 the soldiers from the 81st Mechanized Brigade transported by military trucks about 100 pupils for the national tests of capacity. Thus, 26 pupils from Alunis, Poenile Zagrei, Perisor and Suplai arrived for the exams to the school in Salva and about 77 pupils from Caianu Mic and Spermezeu were transported to a school in Caianu Mic.

The soldiers from these units acted and saved the persons affected by floods in Caianu Mic, Zagra, Poenile Zagrei, Tarlisina and Mocot, Bistrita-Nasaud County. A tank wagon, a truck with drinking water and two Pather stations for phone connections in the region were send in Caianu Mic.

June 20 and 21, 2006 at request of the Prefecture and the Inspectorate for situation of urgency of Galati County, more then 100 soldiers from the 284th Tank Battalion Cuza Voda and the 300th Infantry Battalion Sfantul Andrei from Galati acted and continue to act in support of the population in the flood affected regions as result of Prut river overflowing. The soldiers are still evacuating the population and transporting their goods, and are consolidating the dykes in Mata Radeanu and Rogojeni, Galati County.
