The European Integration. Dimension of Security and Defense seminar organized by the Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy (MoND) through the Institute for Political Studies of Defense and Military History and the support of Hanns Seidl Foundation will occur June 23, 2006 in Alba Iulia Hall of the National Military Cercle.

Representatives of the Parliament of Romania, the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Administration and Interior, different institutions of high education and research and other governmental and non-governmental organization will participate in this event.

The speeches and the debates will focus on the presentation of the EU security and defense strategic framework and the military and civilian institutional dimension of the European Policy of Security and Defense, keeping in mind the efforts Romania made for carrying out the main objective requirements to join the European Union on January 1, 2007.
