The MoND Press Office is mandated to make the following statement related to the interruption of the meeting of the Supreme Council of Defense of the Country:

During the session of the Supreme Council of Defense of the Country, the Minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu was supplementary asked for a complete list comprising all the military capacities that could be deployed in the theaters of operations if all the resources would be ensured.

The memorandum sent to the Supreme Council of Defense of the Country, according to the Law no. 42/2004, comprises the military capacity for which all the resources are certainly ensured for the development of the military operations.

According to Article 4 of the above mentioned Law, the Supreme Council of Defense of the Country analyze and decide up to June 30, every year, the forces and the means that could be set at disposal for the next year participation in missions ( collective defense, peace supporting missions, humanitarian assistance or coalition type) outside the national territory.
