Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Belgium, Andre Flahaut, heading a delegation is in official visit in Romania between July 4 and 5, 2006 invited by the Romanian Minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu.

The two officials will have talks on the evolution of the environment of security in the Balkans and the Black Sea region, the European Policy of Security and Defense and the process of transformation of the North Atlantic Alliance. They will also approach the bilateral military cooperation and the Romanian participation in international missions.

The Belgian official will also be received at the Presidency of Romania, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commission of Defense, Public Order and National Security of the Chamber of Deputies.

Tuesday, July 4, at 11.00 hours, the two Ministers will have press statement at the MoND HQ.
