A delegation headed by Nick Witney, executive director of the European Defence Agency, visit Romania between July 12 and 13, 2006, invited by the State Secretary and Chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defence Policy, Corneliu Dobritoiu.

During the today talks at the MoND HQ the two officials approached the issues on the dynamics of the European Policy of Security and Defense, the activity of the European Defence Agency and the Romanian participation in the increase of security and defense of the European Union.

During his visit, Mr. Nick Witney, as special guest, will participate in the Conference European Policy of Security and Defense Evolution and Perspectives. The Role of the European Defence Agency. The event will occur July 13, 2006 at the National Military Cercle in Bucharest.
