The ceremony for leaving in mission within the Multinational Force for stabilization and reconstruction of Iraq will occur Wednesday, July 19, 2006 starting 11.00 hours in the 811th Infantry Battalion Dej barracks.

Military and civilian personalities from the Ministry of National Defense and the local officials will participate in this festivity.

The 811th Infantry Battalion is the first Romanian unit that in 2005 was evaluated and certified for participation in missions within the North Atlantic Alliance.

The military from Dej are replacing in Iraq their comrades from the 280th Infantry Battalion Focsani participating in mission since January 2006.
