Thursday, July 20, the Day of Sfantul Ilie Tesviteanul, the Romanian aviators are celebrating with military and religious ceremonies, symposiums and sport challenges in all the units, the Day of the Romanian Air Force.

Starting 09.00 hours, a military and religious ceremony will occur at the Monument of the Heroes of the Air in Bucharest. Chief of the Air Staff, Lieutenant General Gheorghe Catrina, MoND representatives, veterans, reserve and retreat military and local authorities will participate in this event.

At the Monument of Aurel Vlaicu in Banesti, Prahova County the moment will be celebrated by a lay of wreaths and acrobatic evolutions of sport pilots and parachutists from Strejnic Aeroclub.
