Sub-units of the Ministry of National Defense and military bands will participate Saturday, July 29 in public ceremonies celebrating the Day of the National Hymn, at the local administration request.

In Bucharest, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Administration and Interior, in cooperation with the Prefecture and the Municipal General Town Hall of Bucharest organize a public ceremony starting 10.00 a.m. in Piata Tricolorului, in front of the Palace of the National Military Cercle. Representatives of civil, military and religious institutions, military attaches accredited in Bucharest, war veterans, retreat and reserve military are invited to participate in this event.

In Bucharest, the Representative Band of the Ministry of National Defense and the reunited chorus of the 30th Guard Regiment Mihai Viteazu and the Romanian Gendarmery will have a performance occasioned by the event.

The Day of the National Hymn was proclaimed by Law nr. 99/1998 and is celebrated on July 29, every year.
