A military ceremony occasioned by the return home, at the end of the mission of the MP Company IRAK VI will occur Thursday, August 3, at 11.00 hours, at the 280th MP Battalion HQ. The military have been deployed between January 19 and July 29 in Mittica Camp, An Nasiriyah, Iraq.

Starting July 2003, different sub-units of the 265th MP Battalion participated under MSU Regiment operational control in the mission of stabilization and reconstruction of Iraq. The military fulfilled: search and reconnaissance missions, escort and protection of military and civilian personalities, control and monitorization of traffic. Also, they participated in the training of the Iraqi policemen of the new structures of order.

The military from the 265th MP Battalion have a great professional expertise gained in international missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.
