Colonel General Gang Chuan Cao, Defence Minister of the People's Republic of China, is heading a military delegation in an official visit to Romania on September 11 and 12, at the invitation of Romanian Defence Minister Teodor Atanasiu.
The two defence ministers will discuss about the bilateral military cooperation, about the process of the Romanian Armed Forces transformation.
Developments of the international security environment, countering terrorism and mass-destruction weapons proliferation are other topics to be dealt with during the talks.
The Chinese Defence Minister will also be received at the Romanian Presidency, the Government and the Deputy Chamber's Commission of Defence, Public Order and National Security. The Chinese delegation will visit the National Defence University, the Simulation Training Center and the College of Crisis Management and Multinational Operations.
