Admiral Sebastian Zaragoza Soto, the Chief of the Spanish Royal Navy Staff will head a delegation on official visit in Romania. The visit takes place from September 13 to 16, 2006, at the invitation of his Romanian counterpart, Vice Admiral Gheorghe Marin.

During the talks, the military officials will approach aspects of the bilateral relations and will attempt to identify new areas of cooperation between the Navy Forces of the two countries.

The program of the visit includes navy units in Constanta and Tulcea.

Admiral Sebastian Zaragoza Soto was born in 1945 and graduated from the Navy Academy of Spain in 1967. His career saw him in different leading positions on board of ships representative of the Spanish Royal Navy as well as in the Navy Command, in the Spanish Defence Ministry or NATO, where he acted as Deputy Commander of the Joint Allied Command Naples.
Admiral Soto was assigned Chief of the Spanish Royal Navy Staff on April 30, 2004.
