Yesterday, October 2, 2006 the Romanian and the US military participating in ISAF 2006 mission in Afghanistan had as guests in the base in Qalat, Zabul province the two Senators, Bill Frist Senator of Tennessee and Mel Martinez Senator of Florida.

The US officials stressed on the earnestness and the team spirit characterizing the cooperation between the Romanian and the US military, all being appreciated by the national Afghani authorities and the ISAF leaders for their abnegation in action for security and stability and development in the South of Afghanistan.
