The Romanian Colours was hoisted, next to those of the forces of the Coalition belonging to the Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan (CSTC-A), in a multinational festivity organised this week at Kabul HQ.

In recognition of the efforts made by the Romanian forces to re-establish peace and rebuild Afghanistan, the hoisting of the Romanian flag was carried out within a ceremony of awarding a number of American troops that concluded their participation in Enduring Freedom operation.

In the opening speech, Colonel Michael Harrison, Deputy Chief of CSTC-A, expressed his satisfaction at having the honour of placing the Romanian Colours next to those of the Coalition members, and he praised the work and performances of the Romanian ANA TRAINING Detachment, operating within that command since 2004.
