Activities dedicated to the Romanian Armed Forces' Day

The National Colours will be hoisted on October 25, on the Armed Forces' Day, by all military institutions and all sea and river military ships will be dressed up with flags.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Defence has scheduled a number of activities, such as:
In Bucharest:
- military, religious and wrath-laying ceremonies:
10:00 a.m. at the Unknown Hero Monument, in Carol Park
11:30 a.m. at the Heroes Monument, at Carol I National Defence University.
- Open Gates Day at the National Military Museum and the Aviation Museum,
free access between 10:00 a.m. 04:00 p.m.
- show by the military brass bands from the Garrison of Bucharest,
in Cismigiu Park, 02:30 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.
- starting 07:00 p.m. retreat with torches by one detachment from the 30th Guards Regiment, on the route: National Military Club Regina Elisabeta Boulevard Opera Hall Square.

In military units:
- The Services' Staffs, commands, big units and units across the country will carry out military, religious and wrath-laying ceremonies at the heroes monuments, solemn meetings where the Defence Minister's Order will be read. An Open Gates Day will also be organised, as well as cultural, artistic and sports activities, symposia, meetings with war veterans, exhibitions, films and shows.

Abroad:
The defence attaches will organise military book, publications and photo exhibitions, as well as wrath-laying ceremonies at cemeteries and monuments dedicated to the Romanian soldiers.

In the theatres of operations
The troops will celebrate the Armed Forces' Day by organising military ceremonies and cultural and sports activities, where partners from multinational coalitions are be invited.
