On Thursday, October 26, the President of Romania, Mr. Traian Basescu, attended the investiture ceremony of Mr. Sorin Frunzaverde as minister of defence, that took place at the Defence Ministry HQ.
The event was attended by the state secretaries, the chief of the General Staff and officers in the defence ministry.
Accredited journalists wishing to participate in the investiture ceremony will be met at Checkpoint no. 3 (near Marriott Hotel), from 17.10 to 17.40 hrs.
