A military airplane, AN 26 type, of the Romanian Air Force is fulfilling today, January 5, 2007 a humanitarian mission for the transport of a new born baby from Baia Mare to the Otopeni military airport where from an ambulance will transport the baby to a specialized hospital.

On board of the airplane a SMURD medical team will ensure the specialized care during the flight.

The mission was ordered by the Minister of Defense.
