Minister of Defense, Sorin Frunzaverde, approved a military airplane, AN 26 type of the Romanian Air Force to transport a patient, today, January 9, 2007 in a humanitarian transport mission at request of the County Emergency Hospital Dr. Constantin Opris from Baia Mare.

The plane had the departure at 9.30 a.m. and on Baia Mare airport received the 50 years old patient and transported her on Otopeni military airport where from she was transported to Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest.
