The Day of Unity of the Romanian Principalities will be marked Wednesday, January 24 in Bucharest and the big cities of the country by military and religious ceremonies, symposiums and lay of wreaths.

Chief of the General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin will participate at 10 a.m. in the celebration occurring in Piata Unirii in Iasi and at 15.45 hours, in Focsani in the ceremony occurring on the esplanade of the Administrative Palace in Piata Unirii.

In Bucharest the competition on The Unity was made by the Nation with the participation of pupils from the sixth district of the Capital will be developed at the National Military Museum. The Museum will also open the exhibition of books on The Unity of the Romanian Principalities.

The lay of wreaths will occur at 11 a.m. at the statue of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Dealul Patriarhiei.

This occasion, the National Military Library organizes an exhibition of books January 24 the Day of the Unity of the Romanian Principalities and the National Military Cercle in cooperation with the Studio of Arts of the Romanian Armed Forces will open the paint exhibition Effigies of the Unity and the representative Band of the Ministry of Defense will have a festive concert.
