Minister of Defense, Sorin Frunzaverde and Chief of the General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin will be Wednesday, February 21, at 13.30 hours at Dragonii Transilvani the 811th Infantry Battalion, in Dej, in the ceremony of return home of the military participants for six months in the effort of stabilization and reconstruction of Iraq, within the Multinational Division South East, deployed in Tallil.

Dragonii Transilvani fulfilled more than 1,200 missions of patrol, search, escort, guard and security, humanitarian actions and medical missions. The military have a rich experience gained in the international missions in Kosovo (BELUKROKOS 2002) and Iraq (ANTIKA BABILONIA 2003). In the Iraqi theater of operations they were replaced by their comrades from the 495th Infantry Battalion Captain Stefan Soverth, Bucharest.

Military officials and local administration representatives are invited to participate in this event.
