The computer assisted exercise CENCOOP CAX 07 will occur between March 13 and 21, at the Simulation Training Center of the General Staff.

The exercise is developed within the Central European Cooperation Initiative (CENCOOP) and gathers the participants from Austria, Croatia and Romania. The Romanian side is represented by the 282nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade Unirea Principatelor and the director of this exercise is the deputy commander of the 1st Territorial Army Corps, Brigade General Ion Palsoiu.

The aim of this activity is the international Battalion staff personnel training in planning and leading the military peace support actions. The scenario is based on the Romanian military expertise gained in the theaters of operations.

This form of training of the personnel from the operationalized structures or from the structures in the process of operationalization are completing their specific training for their future missions in the theaters of operations.

The activity is developed on three stages special training on categories of personnel, operationally and technically, between March 13 and 16, the training on March 17, and the exercise between March 19 and 21.
