The Commander of the 812th Infantry Battalion Soimii Carpatilor , Major Ovidiu Uifaleanu participated in the ceremony organized in Qalat for the Afghani New Year celebration.

This occasion, Major Uifaleanu transmitted to the Governor of Zabul Province, Del Ber Arman, on his and his subordinated personnel behalf the wishes of prosperity for the Afghani population and ensured him they are going to continue the actions of support for the local population in order to build an environment of security in the region.

Governor Del Ber Arman appreciated the progress gained in this province since ISAF is supporting the process of reconstruction of his country, the efforts made by the structures of security for the destroy of the cultures of poppy and the stop of the drug traffic and the help granted to the Reconstruction Team for Qalat Province.
