A delegation headed by Major General F.H. Meulman, deputy air operations within ISAF command, visited Tuesday, March 27, the Lagman military base in Qalat.

During the meeting with the Romanian and the American military, General Meulman was informed by the Zabul Task Force commander, Major Ovidiu Uifaleanu on the state of security in the area of responsibility where the 812th Infantry Battalion Soimii Carpatilor act and on the cooperation with the Afghani structures of security and the Afghani national armed forces for the build of an environment of stability in Zabul province.

Lieutenant Colonel Kevin P. McGlaughlin, chief of the Qalat Province Reconstruction Team presented the ended and the future civilian projects for Zabul province and few aspects on the efficiency of the local authorities in the process of reconstruction and development in Afghanistan.
