State Secretary and chief of Department for Policy of Defense and Planning , Corneliu Dobritoiu and the chief deputy of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Ioan Sorin offered, today April 5, the Ester gifts to the children from the Social Center of Sfantul Dimitrie Foundation from Bucharest (strada Matei Basarab nr. 50).

The 118 children from the Center received the gifts as cloths, shoes, writing materials, food and sweets in total worth of 15143 lei.

The personnel from the central structures of the Ministry of Defense continue thus the tradition to give symbolic gifts to the children, to bring them a moment of joy.

Since the establishment, two and a half years ago, the Committee of Help of the Children, coordinated by the director of the General Staff, the personnel of the General Staff contribute with about 500 billions lei for the help of the assisted children of the Social Center of Sfantul Dimitrie Foundation.
