Minister of Defense, Teodor Melescanu and the Chief of the General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin paid, Thursday, April 12, the visits of information at the Army Staff HQ, the Air Force HQ, the Navy Staff HQ and the Joint Logistic Command HQ.

The chiefs of the Staffs, Lieutenant Generals Teodor Frunzeti and Constantin Croitoru and the Flotilla Rear Admiral Dorin Danila and the commander of the Joint Logistic Command, Major General Catalin Zisu presented the stage of the process of restructure, reorganization and transformation of their structures, the stage of operationalization, the main on going and future programs of endowment and the problems of the personnel with their possible solutioning through the remedy of the signaled deficiencies and for the improvement of their activity.

Minister Teodor Melescanu appreciated the opportunity of these visits of information and underlined the priority for the Romanian Armed Forces, i.e. the operationalization of the units, part of the packet of forces destined to the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union.

Minister Melescanu re-affirmed the concern of the MoD leaders for the continuation of the endowment modernization and the equipping of the men, for the increase of the quality of life of the Armed Forces civilian and military personnel.
