The diagnosis of trauma, cervical medullary vertebra entails a surgery that will be made next days, at the aforementioned hospital.
The health condition of the hospitalized soldier is stable, but critical.

The warrant officer Dan Daniel Porumb was visited by his mother and Colonel Marian Mitrica, Chief Physician, Neurosurgery Section, Clinical Emergency Central Military Hospital, Bucharest, on April 16, 2007.

The Ministry of Defence maintains a regular dialogue with the doctors of Landstudl Hospital, Germany, to monitor the development of the health condition of the Romanian soldier.
