A US military delegation consisting of teachers and students from the National War College of the United States of America was on official visit at the National Defence University Carol I, on April 10-14, 2007.

The US guests were introduced the strategy of the high military education at the National Defence University Carol I and lessons learned following the Romanian Armed Forces contribution to the theatres of operations. The hosts and guests also discussed the further cooperation perspectives between the universities and identified new ways to develop the military training and education in compliance with the effectiveness standards of the modern education.
