The MoD leadership approved a IAR 330 helicopter of the Romanian Air Force to fulfill today, May 4, a humanitarian mission of transport at request of the Major of Motru city.

The helicopter's departure was at 15.00 hours from the 90th Air Transport Base to take at Targu Jiu a serious wounded patient. The wounded will be transported on the Otopeni military airport to be taken by a SMURD ambulance.

Captain Commanders Ion Cristian and Octavian Paun and NCO Ion Anghel formed the crew of this helicopter.
