Chief of General Staff, Admiral Ph.D. Gheorghe Marin will participate to the Reunions of NATO Military Committee and the EU Military Committee at Chiefs of General Staffs level, occurring in Brussels between May 9 and 11. The EU Military Committee Reunion is the first in which Romania is represented at the Chief of General Staff level, as the member of the European Union.

The Reunion works at NATO HQ will comprise the operational and conceptual issues, the sessions dedicated to the Euro-Atlantic Partnership, the NATO-Russia Council and the NATO-Ukraine Partnership and a meeting with the military representatives of the Mediterranean Dialogue member states.

During the Reunion of the EU Military Committee they will approach the issues on the running on operations and missions, the progress in increasing the capability and the improvement of processes of military planning.
