A delegation headed by Lieutenant General Mladen Cirkovic, commander of the Serbian Army had an official visit between May 28 and 30, in Romania, invited by the Chief of the Romanian Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ph.D. Teodor Frunzeti.

The official talks were focused on the process of reform and transformation of the two Armies, the Romanian military participation in operations and international actions and the possibility of increase and consolidate the military cooperation relations.

General Frunzeti made a precision on the possibility to establish a partnership between the Romanian Army and the Serbian Army and appreciated: it is time to develop more our activity in military domain, mainly on training, observing the tradition of cooperation and friendship we shared.

The Serbian delegation was received by the Minister of Defense, Mr. Teodor Melescanu, the Chief of the General Staff, Admiral Ph.D. Gheorghe Marin and had a short visit to the 21st Mountain Battalion in Predeal.
