Commander of the Multinational Division, South-Eats in visit to the Romanian Military in Iraq

The military of the 495th Infantry Battalion deployed in Dracula Camp in Iraq received Thursday, June 7, the visit of the commander of the Multinational Division, South East, the British Major General Jonathan Shaw and of the commander of the British Forward Brigade, Colonel Chris Claydon.

The Romanian Battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel George Constantin, presented the state of security in Dhi Qar province, the missions of the Romanian military and different issues on the cooperation with the Iraqi civilian and military authorities in the region.

The British General wrote in the Battalion's Book of Honor that Romania must be proud having such type of military.
